KLEST began as two questions shaped in very different environments.
Both founders started in industry | where precision mattered, execution carried consequence, and systems were engineered to perform. Yet within those high-performing environments, deeper tensions surfaced.
For Khushboo Jogani, the question became structural: how can systems create value without exhausting the ecosystems they depend on? Her work gradually moved from products to processes, from output to architecture and eventually toward education, where sustainable systems require sustainable thinking.
For Lakshmi Srinivasan, the question was relational: who shapes the system, and who is heard within it? Her path led from applied design into academia, exploring inclusivity not as rhetoric, but as structural participation ensuring curriculum, culture, and identity reinforced one another.
Over time, these inquiries met.
What endures are systems that integrate both. KLEST emerged at that convergence.
